About the Blog
Much Abrew started out as a way for me to maintain my connection to books while I worked in beer full-time. Now that I’ve returned to teaching, the blog is a way to maintain my connection to beer while I work in books full-time.
Primarily, I pair beer with fiction and poetry by suggesting the perfect beer to accompany what I'm reading. I’ll also post on beer trips I take and breweries I visit. There’s a series of entries on the Certified Cicerone exam: how I prepared for it, what it’s like to sit for the test, how the test is graded, and tips on the tasting portion of it.
