12/3: Oxbow's Luppolo

An Italian pilsner from Oxbow (Newcastle, Maine). A simple, light Tipopils to clean the palate after two days of big beers.

Appearance: Straw gold (I see 3 SRM or so, see chart below). But my mom, who’s visiting, says honey (more like 5 SRM).

Aroma: Super clean on the nose. Faintest whiff of bread dough. Water crackers.

Taste: Mild bitterness (because of the dry-hopping). Noble hops.

Mouthfeel: Zippy with carbonation. Effervescent.
